# LumaSphere

Turn a photo or prompt into a 360° HDRI. Shape sun, sky, and indoor light, preview materials, and export a 32-bit EXR. Start with 3 free images.

LumaSphere creates a 360° × 180° equirectangular lighting environment from a regular JPG, PNG, WebP, or text prompt. Generation estimates unseen surroundings and light. It is a creative alternative to a dedicated panoramic capture workflow.

Edit exposure, color temperature, environment rotation, light sources, and ambient fill; preview the lighting on materials; then export a 32-bit floating-point OpenEXR environment for a 3D renderer such as Blender Cycles.

A single ordinary photo does not measure a scene’s full radiance. A generated 32-bit EXR stores floating-point lighting values, not measured HDR recovered from that photo. Physical accuracy still benefits from measured HDR capture and calibration.
